This is a delicious springtime dessert, and it was so easy to make! You can either make your own crust or buy a ready-made crust and fill it with fresh strawberries. Since this blog is all about easy, we are including the ready-made option in the ingredient list.
1 ready-made pie crust, baked
3 cups sliced fresh strawberries, sliced
1 quart whole fresh strawberries
1 cup strawberry dessert topping for ice cream
Bake pie crust according to package directions and cool. Slice 3 cups of fresh berries and place them on the bottom of the cooled pie shell.
Pour 1/2 cup of the strawberry topping over the berries.
Wash the whole berries and cut the stems off.
Place the whole berries around the pie in a decorative fashion.
Pour the other 1/2 cup of topping over the berries.
Chill the pie for about an hour. Just before serving place dallops of whip cream around the edge.
