Here’s an easy supper. We use Pillsbury Biscuits to make the waffles, cooked, breaded chicken strips.
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup blackberry jam
1/2 teaspoon smashed chipotle in adobo
4 frozen, breaded chicken strips
1 can Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
4 slices Swiss cheese
In a small bowl, mix together, mayonnaise, blackberry jam and chipotles.
Place chicken strips in the microwave and cook according to package directions. Assemble waffles by spreading blackberry chipotle spread on each waffle. On one side, place a slice of cheese, chicken and waffle top.
In a small bowl mix together, mayonnaise, blackberry jam and chipotles. Set aside. Spray a heated waffle iron with non-stick spray. Roll out biscuits the size of a waffle square. Place on waffle iron and bake until golden, about 2 minutes. Warm cooked, breaded chicken strips according to package directions. Assemble sandwiches by spreading blackberry chipotle spread on one side of each waffle. Place one slice of cheese, chicken strip and waffle top. Place sandwiches on a panini grill and melt cheese. Serves 4
